February 13th
1862 -- The four day Battle of Fort Donelson, Tennessee, begins.
1865 -- The Confederacy approves the recruitment of slaves as soldiers, as long as the approval of their owners is gained.
February 15th
1862 -- Union General Ulysses S. Grant launches a major assault on Fort Donelson, Tenn. 1869 -- Charges of treason against Jefferson Davis are dropped.
February 16th
1862 -- Fort Donelson, Tennessee, falls to Grant's Federal forces, but not before Nathan Bedford Forrest escapes. 1865 -- Columbia, South Carolina, surrenders to Federal troops.

Speaking of anniversaries, aren't we approaching a milestone in the history of this organization? If I am not mistaken, wasn't it the month of February when our esteemed Lt. Craddock met with destiny in the form of a bottle of hot sauce?

Oh yes. It WAS in February, at Camp Barnhardt, when the incident happened. I knew this month was special for some reason. To celebrate, I think everyone should have a burger - with that famous "Possible Side Effects" sauce added.
