Yes, according to my calendar, we're scheduled to be at Bentonville on Sept. 6th. Our "old" date was always in August, so maybe the new date wasn't recorded by the folks at the site. I'd plan for 9/6 unless we hear otherwise.

UPDATE.... Stay tuned concerning the Bentonville date. Capt. Harry is going to check with the site staff, and we may need to change back to the Aug. 23rd date. I'm keeping both dates open right now, until that is ironed out.

Thanks to all who came out! Great weather, and a nice program - artillery, infantry, cavalry, music, blacksmithing - and the MOST SPECTATORS I'VE EVER SEEN AT BENTONVILLE! We also were able to get in a musket certification/safety class for 3 newbies. Looks like we picked up a few new recruits also.

Thanks to all who came out to our Christmas program on Dec. 6th. We had a good turnout, and I must say that the game of baseball, candle making, and music helped add to our portrayal of soldiers on furlough. As usual, the natural decorations in the kitchen were top-notch, and it was great to see all the spectators making ornaments for the outside tree. A special thanks goes out to Pvt. James for his presentation of the battle flag to one Lt. who was trying to forget about his performance at Ft. Branch. And finally, we want to thank the guys from the 7th NC who fell in with us for the day. We enjoyed having you there! Merry Christmas to all!
