YOU GO Charlie! Nice article too. I only wish Charlie's head wound had been shown in the photo..... it was a work of art.

I thought Charlie did a good job for the unit in explaining why we do what we do!

I agree. It was great to have Charlie talk about how important religion was to the soldiers of the period, and refreshing to see that the writer used that in his article.

Great article. Charlie added some very good things in there. I'm glad the person who wrote put it in.
P.S. Bryan, Wasn't it that female marine that wrote the article?

It might have been, but don't know for sure. Maybe D. Woods will know.

It was as far as I know that female who wrote it. by the way, how was Chancelorsville? Did you stay dry?

Nope, it was impossible to stay dry. Fri. afternoon and night were nice, but the rains came during the night and Sat. was pretty much rainy all day. We had a nice company/battalion drill though, and the battle was fine.... but the battlefield itself seemed like a swamp. The event was called off Sunday, so we left early. Still, a fun event.... and we'll remember it forever.

As a spectator I thought the battle was great....too bad about the rain really.
I got some pretty good pictures of y'all coming from the woodline, better than I thought considering the distance. We'll get those posted on the website very soon.
